Multi Dimensional Family Therapy
               
          MDFT is an intensive, home-based family therapy model that has been developed out of the University of Miami, Florida.   The model addresses both substance abuse and mental health issues and utilizes Structural Family Therapy as a basis for treatment.  Clinicians and assistants work with the whole family in their home, stressing family roles and responsibilities as well as taking into consideration life stages and developmental challenges.  All referrals are made by DCF.
