Hartford Behavioral Health  Is Scheduled for its Joint Commission Reaccreditation Survey Event Scheduled for February 16th and 17th 2011 Hartford Behavioral Health hereby authorizes Ms. Elaine Black, LCSW-R to conduct a full two days onsite survey at our two locations. This includes our Affirmation Center located at One Main Street, Hartford, CT 06106 and our Cole treatment site located at 2550 Main Street, Hartford, CT 06120 Ms. Black is currently a resident of New York State and has been a Joint Commission surveyor since 2005 and is trained under the Accreditation Manual for Behavioral Health Care.  Ms Black is presently a surveyor in the Behavioral Health Care accreditation program. Ms Black is an Adjunct Professor in a Graduate School of Social Services program in New York.  Ms Black has also held directorship/administrative/clinical supervisory   positions in residential psychiatric facility, maternal / child health inpatient and outpatient hospital programs, homeless shelters, alcohol/substance abuse program, and federally qualified health center.  Ms Black is board certified in Social Work and is currently licensed in New York State as a LCSW-R. We are excited to have Ms. Black as our Surveyor and look forward to meeting her on February 16th, 2011, as HBH demonstrates its commitment to the highest level of care for our clients. With Joint Commission accreditation, Hartford Behavioral Health is making a significant investment in quality on a day to day basis from the top down.
